Creating a "film grain" effect in premiere
I was wondering how this person ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YE_mf0wNsRY ) does the "film grain" effect at the red portion of the videos at 2:46. I'm aware of how to tint it red and whatnot, but what produces the "grainy" film effect lines? Is it a filter of sorts?

Then it's an After Effects plugin. I can't find one in AE 6.5 that does that, so it might be a 3rd party that ScorpionsUltd might have added. But Again, I think this video was done using AE 7.0 and I don't think Premiere has effects of that caliber.shosaisyu wrote:Effect-Noise-Median Just seems to make the video blurry...not add the "lines".^^:

There is a pack of plug ins from Magic Bullet for AE. You might know the Film Damage filter from DigitalEffects. The difference is that MB took all the little settings and made effects out of ´em. So: You can add only small lines or only the flicker.shosaisyu wrote:Effect-Noise-Median Just seems to make the video blurry...not add the "lines".^^:
