I can't seem to add any (sub)titles to what I'm editing.

I recently formatted my computer and reinstalled adobe premiere. While I was editing the video, I clicked on the Title menu so I could add subtitles to my work, but everything is greyed-out. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Do you still have the style font you´ve used for the text on your system?

Have you tried choosing one of the options under "New Title" first?

i'm not quite sure what you mean by the styles font. can you elaborate?

where can i find that option? i clicked on "Title" and I couldn't choose anything under that menu.

"style font":

The design of your text is always a font. Famous fonts are for example: "Times new Roman" or "Arial".

You need more examples or free fonts?:

alright...i've been an idiot and never tried to simply right click in the project menu. i clicked on New Item > Title...

that was all there was to it. thank you guys sooo much for helping me out!
