Adobe Premiere 2.0 Keyframe issue

Post by Toshi.des » Wed Sep 05, 2007 3:15 am

Hi, currently I've been messing with key frames for desired effects with titles moving across and around the screen. Also for fading with opacity and such, the issue is if I set a key frame in 5 seconds of the video telling the title to be at that frame at that time, then set another key frame about 3 seconds after that, so at 8, the space in between seem to have issues playing smoothly.

It happnes whether it's a shorter or larger gap in between the two keyframes, but it seems to reverse for a just a moment in between then continue on to the last frame. This happens with any effect I do, whether it's moving, opacity, or some video effect.

No normally I have multiple key frames, around 5 or 6 and so far it's happend to the 3 key frame and 5th on my first try, now on my 2nd and third on my 2nd try. Though they are two different projects but it seems to be at random from what I can tell.

Any know what to do so it goes smoothly from one keyframe to another?

you sure this isn't a preview playback lag issue?

view your footage frame by frame and keep and eye the property that your key framing in the effect window - maybe theres a stray key frame lying around. zoom in so you can see if two are overlapping each other.

Does the same issue come up after you export?
And try sequence --> render work area for timeline playback in real time..

It happens after I export it and and before. And I have checked for other keyframes that might have been added but this is right in the middle of two that are far apart you'd definitely noticed if there was a keyframe there.

Here's a screen recording of my issue, sorry I forgot to change the resolution so it's 11 mbs.

I went through the same part of the timeline 3 times, though the last time will be the best to view the issue, you'll see that the director will be going to the right then for a second pull back the the left then continue on the the right.

Same happens to Toshiya Kiromo just from the other side of the screen.
