3 Questions about APRO 2.0

Hello you all, I've been off since some good time from making amv's, but some day I had to return, and so I did, but the nightmares of the past are still haunting me : Adobe Premiere once crashed one LARGE project I had and couldn't continue it( that's when I stopped making amv's ) and now, it crashed and also says that the save file is damaged. I don't really know what to do, so here are my 3 questions :

1) If I re-install Adobe Premiere Pro, do I lose the .avs installation and third party transitions effects?

2) Last time I was editing a 1.5gb .avi file, also used .avs to open it, but with both it goes DAMN slow, I even tried other adobe premiere versions but none of them could help it. Any suggestion?

3) Why does sometimes when I want to preview it says that It couldn't render because of idon'tknowwhat or a ram problem?
