photoshop lasso tool

Post by prYzm » Tue Jan 15, 2008 2:24 am

ok im doing some masking stuff through photoshop (i use vegas, and i use masking in vegas too but for this situation im doing it in photoshop). anyways, im cutting out a character over a set of frames cause she's moving, is there any way i can essentially save my 'lasso tool' so that when i open the next image in photoshop i can just put the lasso tool onto my new image, then adjust it, rather than completly highlight the entire character again?

Selection>Save selection

Lasso tool probably isn't the best way to cut out a character though...

Yes: use the Pen tool and make paths instead. That way, not only do you get the flexibility of Bezier curves, but you also get to copy paths from one project to another.
