Has A Problem And Has To Close
With Some Video Clips It Will Go In The Timeline Fine.
But With A Few Video Clips It Won't, The File Types Are Usually .MPG, .AVI or .WMV.
It Comes Up Box Saying
"Windows Movie Maker Has A Problem and needs to close"
It Does It Random Times, so i lose all my AMV.
Any Help?

Ok, did you know what kind of video codec inside of .avi or others contain format? if not get this then install it of course after that go on the video you want to edit and right click go in gspot and it will show up the info you need to know.BJR wrote:Okay! Thanks.
also, when it crashes and i re-open it, i open up my video and everything on the timeline is scrunched together...
Any1 know why

convert your divx or w/e to huffyuv with virtualdubmod. edit with that.

Jesus Christ, I am getting incredibly fucking tired of that gif. I've used WMM for a long time, and will continue to do so. XVID OR HUFFYUV IN WMM, IT DOESN'T MATTER. Maybe in Vegas and shit it does, not in WMM. It will come out exactly the same, I don't edit with WMV or Mpeg, but I know mine has no problems with that anyway.
And guess what? The one time I used Huffy
1. It crashed the same amount
2. Quality came out EXACTLY the same.
IT DOESN'T MATTER IN WMM...for the 4th time.
