What'd happen if I...

Post by Brigid » Sun Jul 15, 2007 9:57 pm

Okay, I know that technically speaking WMM can't be uninstalled from the system. But, I have CCleaner, which theoretically can uninstall anything if I ask it to. (Scary.)

So I was wondering... Will my computer undergo critical meltdown and explode in a dazzling display of molten plastic and silicon if I manage to uninstall WMM?

I don't see WHY it would. As far as I know WMM is not a vital app in the OS. I've uninstalled other components like MSN and even Paint without any CPU Frags. :?

It is a terrible memory hog, though. The only reason I've used it up to this point is that it's free. (And worth every penny. :x )
