uncompressed audio..

Post by Metoollhed » Tue Jul 24, 2007 1:41 am

Hey there, people at a-m-v.org. How you doing?

I have a little question.. In Windows Movie Maker, where do I change the audio into "uncompressed audio"? (If you can, please deliver a screenshot)

And another question, does "exporting" refer to the act of turning a WMM file into an actual video file?

Many thanks.

Err...you can't just make the audio uncompressed in WMM. You have to either convert an audio file (like an MP3) into an uncompressed .wav, or copy music from your CDs (which is the MUCH BETTER option), read about how to do this here.

I see, thanks.

But, the 2nd option seems just too complicated for me. :?

Do you happen to have any links for free MP3-to-WAV converters?

Sorry for the double post, but- I found a way to convert the files, but I still want to know something- Do all .wav files count as "Uncompressed".

And sorry again for the double post.

umm, no. All wav files are not compressed. You can compress wav files, you just need to know how .

whoops a typo, that should have been "all wav files are not UNcompressed" :P. Funny it is that you were so busy defending yourself, you did not bother understanding it by reading the second part of the sentence.
