i downloaded an episode of naruto but wen i try and add it to movie maker it says i dont hav the rite codec iv installed the codec i was told to use a 10000 times wat should i do???????

now i need some real help i found out that the codec i need is divx!!!!!!how do i change wat codec i need

convert the files into a different compression... such as huffyuv... but that codec makes ginormous files so you are going to have to take short clips...

you can do so with a program called Virtualdub Mod:

open the video file in virtualdub mod go to video->compression->Huffyuv

then go to file->save


use those to mark the beginning and the end of the "clips" you want so you can save room
