Please someone enlighten me about this!

Hello.
I am a total newbie at the amv making.
I got Ares tube today and downloaded some naruto amvs at myspace.

Anyways,I took the clips to windows movie maker and started editing them.
I silenced the amv's music and put a song of my choice over it.
I put on some effects and the usual stuff.But after a while when I try to replay it it stucks.

It's like stoping in the middle of a clip,the pin keeps on moving and the music goes on but the video is stuck in the same clip and when i try to click play again or make it stop it says that there's not enough room to save for this.
But my clips aren't too long.I can't get it.

I tried to save the amv in a file for uploading later at the internet-not MSSWW whatever format but on a suitable for youtube one.

Anyways,it won't save it and it says that windows movie maker doesn't know from where the file came from and stuff.

Is it that I put my music over the amv's original one?

whatever format but on a suitable for boochsack one.
sorry the bold word was meant to be youtube.
Idk how I spelled it that way.

tis the word filter because youtube is to the org as crash is to car.
generally speaking, taking someone's amv, putting new audio to it and calling it your own is not taken very well either.

that said, have you looked through the FAQ sticky at the top of this forum?
if you don't find the answer to your problem in the FAQ you'll need to provide some more details like:
computer specs (cpu, HD space, ram)
song file extention (.mp3, .wav, .wma, etc...)
codec used to encode the video (get gspot from my sig if you don't know)

It's not like actually stealing someone else's amv because I collect clips from multiple and various amvs and combine them together.
If there's something I am stealing then this is the naruto show itself.That to be done with that.
Thanks for the tip.I didn't check so far cause I was very busy and hoped for a quick help.
I'll go check now.

Perhaps just download it for free when I find a site that does that?
Cause don't tell me that all the people here that make amvs go and buy the series.
Afterall I am 17.I can't buy the series without a credit card and i'd never use one without my mom's permittion... --_--

most people do, in fact, buy the dvds (or they should according to the site ethics)

Perhaps,those that do have the ability to afford the series then they do well to buy it.
I don't,so excuse me for wanting to make a damn amv with no series at all.
Not everyone can afford it you know.And not everyone has a credit card of their own.
So stop flaming me for this.

Their not flaming. Their informing.

Its against this forums rules to use downloaded footage to make an amv.

Because if you didn't pay for it. You stole it. And this site has had trouble with artists/ect wanting their music taken down. So if you want to contribute to this site's problems. Be my guest.

Though I doubt anyone here is going to even click a thread with your name on it. Knowing that your doing this.

And byw, I wouldn't suggest uploading any amvs to this site unless you want to get banned.

Because it is strictly against the rules here to do what your planning on doing.
