Okay, from the top.
Yes, I'm new to all this making of AMVs. I'm using Vista, I'm using WMM and my clips are in AVI format. I've already read most of the tutorials and most of the threads regarding AVI/WMM compatability issues. Unfortunately, most of you talk about it as if everyone else knows what you're talking about which isn't always the case.
Through my cloud of confusion, I figure I need to be downloading a program called VDubMod and using that to convert my files, or something. Fair-dos.
Only, when I track down their site and go to the downloads page, I get this mess.

Now, I'm tired and I have a headache. Could somebody please, in plain English, tell me which of those many confusing links I need to click on?

Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides <--first would have been best. Those with an I.Q over 100 and a good grasp of english should be able to understand the general concepts and how to apply them it even if it takes a few read throughs. Unless you're cornwiggle in which case you can still think that compressing an already compressed file makes it look better

I forgot to mention that vista pretty much blows, more specifically it's not kind to most editing software there a few threads in this forum already talking about vista and WMM... so you may want to have a read of them if you run into problems as they might help.
