So, I just lurked around the forums a bit..
And saw the madly flashing banner regarding DivX and Xvid numerous times after trying to find a solution for the green bar problem with WMM on Vista.
Then I realized that I was editing with DivX (ef was DivX, Haruhi was Xvid..?) so I'm just going to convert the clips I want to Huffyuv... but!
I already made 2:30 of my movie.. and I don't want to restart.
So is it possible to keep the movie files (.avi, or the episodes..) in the same place, with the same name.. but have a different codec?
1) I'm just basically asking if I can use the same WMM save file on a converted file.
2) And I need a bit of explanation on codec/files..
Changing codec = not changing file extension (.avi,.mp4) ??
I want to save my 2 minutes of work T_T;;

Dunno if this works with WMM or not.
first, make a copy of all your files and put them into another folder
then load your copied files into vdubmod and save over the originals using huffyuv as the codec.
(make sure WMM is closed when you're doing this)
when you open WMM again it should be using your lossless copies

yes if you Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides there is a segment about encoding for cons etc and general compression.
making an xvid from vdubbmod might work well for you, although mp4's are better I'm not sure how much .avs you know so ...
