Windows Vista MM problems
I have a Vista and the music maker on here is messing up something weird. I've never came across this before, but when I publish my AMV half of the screen is green while the other half is the movie. I've tested this out with different clips and pictures to see if there was something wrong with the original clips, but it did the same thing. I also found myself toggling with the settings to see if something was off, but once more, nothing worked. I'm not sure what it's doing for I've never have come across something like this before.
If anyone knows how I can fix this problem it'll be a lot of help.

Sorry, I meant Movie Maker. And I'm not sure how to figure that out. I've never had to deal with this problem before.

Re: Windows Vista MM problems
to get codec information right-click on the video file, and choose "properties" and click the tab that says "summery" it should be listed next to compression and if that doesn't work, get a program called GSpot and drop the file in it

Re: Windows Vista MM problems
It seems to be both my Rurouni Kenchin and my Tokyo Mew Mew episodes that are doing this. I couldn't figure out GSpot, nor were there a summary with the files. Strange thing is, they worked perfectly fine in my dad's Vista Movie Maker. So, why do they work in one Vista Movie Maker, but the will not work in another? Is there anyway to fix this?

Re: Windows Vista MM problems
Sounds like they are xvid/divx videos (or some other kind of lossy encoded files). It's a bad idea to use lossy files to edit, as explained here.

Well, peanuts. They are...
Thank you...I suppose I'll have to be careful when downloading.

Won't really matter. Most downloaded anime is in Divx/Xvid, just for sizes sake. You're much better off actually buying the DVDs.Kuri_Rice wrote:I suppose I'll have to be careful when downloading.

Re: Windows Vista MM problems
I do buy my anime...problem is is that I don't have a program to put that on my computer to make an AMV with. I used to have a program, but my computer crashed sometime ago and the program never really came back. So, I download so I can have it on my computer to make an AMV with.
