WMM Won't save/ I know why but can't figure out a solution..

Post by The Legendary Robanian » Fri Dec 29, 2006 10:30 pm

I've got the same problem that someone had in a recent thread here. However, none of those problems are it. I'm extremely frustrated b/c I've already made 3 AMV's using MM and now it's giving me trash. I'm not using and special Codecs. Just HuffyYUV 1.5,ect../ I used two different animes and when I went to save it kept giving me this error.Later, trying to problem solve I found a threshold. If I had the AMV stretching longer than 2:01:07 then the AMV would fail to save. But as long as I kept it even .07 seconds away from this it would save normally. I have no idea why this problem is happening and I'm afraid of wasting more time and starting from scratch only to encounter the same problems. I've tested this theory time and time again. On one occasion I took a 3.5 second clip and repeated over the limit and it saved. The framerates of the anime are the same and all the footage behind that time line is made of clips between the two, so it's obviously not a conflict between the two. (or at least not one that I'm aware of.) . If anyone has an idea, or some advice it would be helpful, I'd like to come out with something from this wasted Chritstmas break...

Robanian

Obviously you haven't read the FAQ
at the top of this forum.
I would recomend frequently asked question #3 option 2 to solve your problem.

No, it's ok...
I was aware of that..solution..
I don't know whether I was looking for another (easier) solution, or just an answer to the question why it was doing it to me now?!
*sigh* another headache...

The more advanced people get with their editing in this program the more this tends to happen. So this being your (3rd?/4th? amv) it doesn't supprise me in the slightest, because that's exactly the point when I started to have the problem myself. I wasted 6 weeks trying to fix/figure it out before biting the bullet.
FAQ STICKY wrote:This often happens when there are too many effects/transitions in your video and the program saved to a point and then hangs
Sweetdeily I'm so taking that Haiku for my sig, make now CS2 slave!.
