PLEASE HELP! T.T

Post by Ilovekadaj » Sat Apr 28, 2007 10:09 pm

OKAY! I have a huge problem, and I don't think Windows Movie Maker has ever done this before. I REALLY need help. v.v

When I try to save my AMV like I usually do it says this.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j224/ ... eMaker.jpg

And I have enough space on my computer (Over 50 GB) and I still have all the files that are in the AMV on my computer and everything. So I don't know what's wrong. =/
I am using more then one anime though.
I'm using, Loveless, Hellsing, Fullmetal Alchemist, The Fullmetal Alchemist Movie, Final Fantasy VII, DN Angel, Death Note, Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings. (I know LOTR and HP are not animes but yeah, there in there also.)

And i've tried tons of times to save the AMV and it just won't save! >.< It's making me very upset and I really need help. So if anyone knows anything I could do, please TELL ME. v.v

reboot your computer... or up your virtual memory allocation and/or check that none of the files have been moved/renamed accidently, scan all the clips in you project for a big red X
If there is one then that's you problem.
I've also had this error somtimes when other footage is on a different HDD
new banzors in the making :p

And if it isn't your clips, check to see if your project is more complicated than usual. Lots of fades, very short clips, and varying codecs/resolutions for the source footage - it can all make the project too difficult for wmm to export in one chunk. In that case your options are to - increase your memory or break the project into pieces instead of trying to export one big file.

Check the FAQ while you're at it:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=75439
Number 3 tells you all about this problem.

Note - when you're using lots of sources, always make sure they're the same format (huffyuv) and resolution (640x480 if you're using wmv, 720x480 if you're using dv-avi). It'll make interpretting and exporting the footage a lot easier for wmm.
