well there's your problem...your output quality can only be as good as your sourceBooBz_McGee wrote:i am using...and downloaded
no matter how "good" a downloaded source looks it will always be inferior to dvd footage
and streaming != good quality
if you're serious about visual quality, Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides (yes, all of it. Might want to get a few snacks since it is a bit of a read)

if you want more control over the quality of your video it's always better to use DVD footage... as most downloadable sources are usually covered in fansubs, and even raws they have already done filtering on it, and the quality is more than likely going to be lower than what you would get from a DVD.
plus this site doesn't advocate using downloaded sources to edit with.

How to make an AMV Step by Step in WMM:
I wrote this out for someone else ages ago, it might help you a bitJaddziaDax wrote:well this is the "break down" to steps (to make it easier)
1. Rip and convert DVDs choose - one
2. import and set up
3. Edit to your taste (the fun part)
4. export
5. compress your Video and your Audio
6. upload to the org
Trouble Shooting:
1. Windows Movie Maker FAQ
2. Windows Movie Maker Forum (on the org of course)
