this ever happen to you? [Help with WMM publishing]

Post by AlexanderVonCross » Thu Jun 25, 2009 7:43 pm

ok, i have made my second amv. i did it with windows movie maker. the problem i am having is, when i publish it, at a certain pont, the video goes black, the clips i am using just up and go missing, the music plays, but none of the video is there, then one or two clips will come up, and then nothing. i started to remake the clips, but im not sure if thats going to help. so does anyone know what i can do to fix this? i was affraid it was a filter, but i made the amv a second time, and the same thing happens. help
I have been told I have issues, I just say, no I have volumes...ususally they just shake their heads and walk away.

That's the name of the codec. If you check a video file's properties (right click) and check the summary tab (advanced, not simple), it'll tell you if you use it under "compression".

Actually this thing has happened to me(Exactly)

Remaking the clips actually helps, go for it

A re-import never worked for me

I remade my source in the virtual dub-mod and then replaced the offending clip with my new one
