so in the future when I'm encoding my DVD rips what would you recommend I use? let's say I have a 500GB of free space and all I have to edit with is WMM on XP and Magix 2.0.Scintilla wrote:http://www.aquilinestudios.org/DivX_Editing.html -- that will explain why it's not a good idea to edit with such clips in most or all editing programs.digifreak wrote:what's the problem with divx/xvid? A lossless codec such as HuffYUV or Lagarith. Also recommend only taking the clips you need, but if you actually have 500GB available, then you might even be able to get away with saving entire episodes.digifreak wrote:so in the future when I'm encoding my DVD rips what would you recommend I use? let's say I have a 500GB of free space and all I have to edit with is WMM on XP and Magix 2.0.Scintilla wrote:http://www.aquilinestudios.org/DivX_Editing.html -- that will explain why it's not a good idea to edit with such clips in most or all editing programs.digifreak wrote:what's the problem with divx/xvid?
