I've worked with Windows Movie Maker for many, many years since I was a kid and our relationship has come to an end I've longed accepted. I need a program that does things that it could not provide, specifically...
1. Text effect. Like having videos in it, or having the text be in a select space and moving...
2. Additional video effect. Similar to the text ones. Like getting them to move on a specific location, cropping them, etc.
I've shortly worked with Vegas and Pinnacle Studio. I worked with Vegas for a project and Pinnacle with amv. I still have Pinaccle in the other computer but I have no way of transferring it. I never got the chance to explore them either. I have never done anything much amazing then a fade in and fade out XD so I'm not familiar with editing terms either.
What programs do you suggest? Do you insist I go to Pinnacle? I don't have Vegas anymore and it would be difficult for me to get my hands on it. I'd like to hear other useful programs too that can do the stuffs I'm looking for. If it's a program for free, even better.

Oooh yes I forgot that it was recommended to me too. I thought it was quite simple too. I remember the person used this with another program to make a video. But I'd have to buy it...any other recommendations?Pwolf wrote:After Effects

I would suggest using both Sony Vegas and After Effects. but both programs cost and its kinda expensive. xD I don't know any good free programs.

if you are planning to get after effects don't get vegas.... get premiere pro instead. its much better and it works great with after effects. don't listen to the people that say vegas and after effects are better.

Agreed. Adobe products shouldn't really be mixed with other softwares. It just disturbs workflow and corrupts cross-ware simplicity.
