Any Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X8.5 user?

Hi,

are there any Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X8.5 users? I am looking for an editing software for AMVs and my own videos shot with my Lumix G6 (AVCHD) which supports mkv container as input (unlike Sony Movie Studio 13 Suite and Adobe Premiere Elements 14).

I used Sony Vegas Pro years ago and switched to Kdenlive afterwards. But now I need software which at least supports AVCHD for my camera and I want to actually BUY the software

How good is the output quality and how much does Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X8.5 limit your skills compared to software like After Effects/Premiere Pro or Sony Vegas Pro? Where are the limits? Which features might I miss for AMV editing?

I use that software but I don't remember the version number due to I re-stalled my lap few days ago. And it was almost one year that I stop making AMV, but one thing clear about my Corel VideoStudio, it only supports AVI format
