I'm back, but, I'm back with Vegas Problems......
I keep coming across the "initializing gpu-accelerated video processing freeze" problem and I've tried all 3 solutions I could find on the internet and it's preventing me from even running vegas pro. Can I get some help? I know how my editor works just fine, but this is the first time this has happened. Help?

Bump* Can anyone help me? This is the first time I've never received help on the forums. Are they dead? Anywho, I'm still looking for a solution to the problem. If anyone can help me it would b be great.

Nevermind. I found the issue causing it. A mod can close the thread.

What was the solution? Might be helpful is someone else runs into the same issue.

Re: I'm back, but, I'm back with Vegas Problems......
Basically it was a "initializing gpu error" for Sony Vegas. Specifically every version of it. Apparently any Sony Vegas on windows 10 CAN have this problem.
Basically, when it was initializing any of the GPU's on startup, Sony Vegas would crash or you would get the SV has stopped working error.
The Fix I found:
I went into my device manager and into my "Display Adapters" and disabled my AMD Radeon R7 Graphics. My main card is a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 950 so it wouldn't have bothered anything display wise or gameplay wise or editing wise. I did it just to see what effect it would have IF ANY. It worked like a charm. Sony Vegas booted right up and I haven't had trouble since.
------------------------------------------
It seems though that for some reason I can't find codec downloads to drop into vegas. So I don't have any MPEG4 or XVID codecs to render with. Seems something has happened editing wise with Sony Vegas that has changed since I stopped editing almost a year ago. I'm trying to make a comeback but I can't find any codecs whatsoever.
