Is this editing program anygood?

Well I was wondering how good this would be for making amvs?
I am having hard time editing in my current program (WMM) because I have to cut off parts I don't want and then match it exactly to the beat!! It gets annoying and I need sumtin easier, is this a good choice?

That seems almost too simplistic. You'll probably want to download the trial and test it out. But from the description, I don't think it's designed for complex (or semi-complex) videos. It's like a "load, click, forget" type of program, with very little control.

For the same price, Intervideo WinDVD Creator would be better (although I haven't heard great things). For about the same money, I'd suggest Magix Movie Edit Pro, or Ulead VideoStudio. Magix has the advantage of 16 audio/video tracks for overlays. WinDVD Creator and VideoStudio have 1 track, the VideoStudio Plus version (which is about $100) has 6 video tracks.

If you have the option (and money) Magix's UK version (blue box) is generally better than the US version (red box). But, currently the US version 11 can be found fairly cheap at some stores (CompUSA, Best Buy, etc.). Version 12 is the most current, but I'm not sure if there are enough changes or improvements to warrant picking it over version 11. Especially if 11 is cheaper.
