I've got a Ulead Video Studio 6.0 problem...sort of

Post by Ari-chan » Sat Jun 02, 2007 12:38 pm

Hello, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place, but I am having some footage troubles on Ulead. You see, I'm using these AVI files and converting them into mpeg files with Ulead so Adobe Premiere can accept them (Since my Adobe Premiere doesn't take AVI files). Unfortionatly, some episodes work, and some don't. The ones that don't say this when opened in Ulead

Warning: Nothing to output BFrame Decoder Lag

I don't know what that means because I'm an idiot when it come to this stuff. So can anyone help out? Even if just a little?

the b-frame decoder lag shows up for only 1 frame.... the rest of the video is there...

it does the same thing in virutaldub mod when you use it to convert video

You know what they say, do not edit with interframe codecs (stuff like MPEG-4 ASP/XviD/DivX, H.264).

Convert it to lossless with lagarith or Huffyuv and it should be fine.
