This is right. That only applies to entries sent on tape. Digital entries don't need black leader.I don't see anywhere about leaving one second of blank footage and no audio like last couple of years. Is this right?

The forms were sent yesterday and the two DVDs went out in the mail today, one from me and one from TH3G3CK0! Looking forward to another great show!
Pray 4 peace! Not an AMV, something you can do to help!

Any format that you can output, we can accept. If for some reason I can't figure out how to convert it, I will let you know, and even if the deadline has passed, you will be given a short amount of time to resubmit. I have a Mac and a PC, so whatever is good for you, should be good for me.
MP4 is a container, not necessarily a codec. MP4 can contain mpeg-4, h.264, and probably a bunch of other things. I've received MP4 files before and converted them all without issue.
Also, for those of you waiting on confirmations, they should start going out NEXT weekend. I have been watching the entries as they've come in, but until my replacement mpeg2 card comes in, I can't tell anyone with 100% certainty that their video is OK, when it might not be. I think that it makes more sense to hold off than to tell the submitters something that may or may not be true >.>

I do not want to disclose that information at this time, as it may influence the number of submissions that we receive.brutalmonkeyproduction wrote:is there anyway to find out how many people are already in the contest?
