That sounds pretty cool actually. Don't think I've ever seen George Carlin used in an AMV before.
This is how I see things:
A bad AMV makes it look easy
A good AMV makes it look fun
A great AMV makes it look hard
However, the best AMVs make it look impossible

It's his joke, but it's done by someone else. It comes from a radio show I listened to years ago, and it featured his seven words you can't say on TV. As a radio stinger. And it's all censored as well, so it was good to play.

I messed with the piss joke though because it didn't sound so dirty to me as ass. But it's all in the same vein of the original, and it's censored anyway, so not many people should notice.

SNL will be showing the very first episode from the 70's hosted by George Carlin. I'm looking forward to seeing it tonight.

Hello everyone. Well, I am one of the few survivors of the pre-screening this weekend and I just wanted to say it was certainly fun. It was great to meet some of the awesome amv-makers that have created videos I truly admire over the years. Great job again to everyone in the contest (well...maybe not rehdogg so much but...:P)!

So Rehdogg's submission was as ghastly as his website then? I was kind of excited when I saw something that looked like an original piece of animation in the list of entries, but I was a little concerned when I actually googled his previous work. Here's hoping he improves for next year then.

Awesome! Really wish I could've gone.

Are there going to be any other screenings, or is just a matter of compiling the finalists now?

(Edited because "cimpiling" isn't a word...)

.....let's just say it was epic in its own right...

There's going to be one more in Chicago at some point (likely the weekend), but they said it was filled to capacity for RSVP.

Not to be of a bother or ruin my entry into the contest but was there any positive feedback on my AMV getting into the contest?

I did a Esca one and I'm sure its the only entry in the contest, if not its called Heart of a Angel.
Sorry if I'm asking like this. >.<
