That's weird. I wrote trailer on the submission sheet. And for the life of me, I can't consider it making any other category. But I didn't even consider the possibility that it made the "Uncatagorized" section.
Anyway, I emailed VicBond about it, and I also asked for my prescreening score (I'm curious.) So it should be cleared up soon.

But congratulations on making it in.

No no...I mean there was a 7th "Trailer" in the running as a result of that.

Neither was mine. Flashy != good video. In fact (and I'm not just saying this to make you feel better), yours was one of the higher ranked videos on my prescreening scores. I took a brief look at your profile and immediately remembered it (which is good).

...then again, I am an Angelic Layer fan and am biased >_>.

No, it's not a mistake - I'm a finalist! The year I finally decided to get serious and send something competitive for Otakon.... and it has paid off!

I'm happy the prescreeners apparently liked my entry.... and I'm happy to know that thousands of people are going to see my newest AMV.

Congratulations to all the finalists! I look forward to a fun, competitive contest this year at Otakon!

Only 4 upbeat? Was there a lack of entries for that category, or did the contest run out of time since some of the other categories are huge.

Ha ha thanks! The problem with my amv was that you needed to know the story of Angelic Layer to get it. So in a crowd with mixed anime viewing history it would turn out looking mediocre.

Gotta try harder next year! haha
