Aki con Washington States newest Anime and Manga convention annouces it's AMV Contest!
Anime Music Videos! Create a AMV! All entries must be post marked by 9/15/08. You must be pre-registered to enter and be present at Aki Con to win. All AMV must be 5 minute of less The winning AMV will be played at Opening Ceremonies and winning director will get 100 Aki Dollars!

Cosplay Showdown! (skit contest)
Hallway cosplay contest
Aki Con Name The Mascots

Cosplay Weapons Contest:
Do you have any awesome homemade cosplay weapon you'd like to showcase. Then sign up
at the Main stage by noon Saturday and report to Panel room 2 at the assigned time. There
you weapons will be displayed for attendees to vote on their favorite weapon. The winner will
be announced at closing ceremonies. All weapons must be registered when an
attendee arrives at Aki con. Aki con reserves the right to ask that any cosplay
weapon be left outside of the convention on a case by case bases.

otaku you meet.
