Congrats to winners.

It was really fun to see my vid on the big screen. It was really funny to see how much you underestimated the crowd.

I uploaded my video if anyone wants to see it again.

I know I'm almost a month late, but I just noticed this now. My Otakon video apparently didn't make the cut. I'm very glad that I didn't buy the train ticket to New York for NYAF, as much as I wanted to go. I would have been extremely disappointed to find out on site that my video wasn't on the ballot.

It would have been nice if I was notified in my e-mail that I made or didn't make the contest. It's something you need to work on for next year, if there is a contest at all. Going from some people's accounts on how the AMV contest was handled, it sure wasn't anything like Otakon, AWA, or even Anime USA....

I believe they said that they would only notify you if your video made it... they wouldn't notify you if it didn't make it.

Regardless, they need to tell those who entered who made the cut and who didn't. It's simple, common courtesy, and it's something they need to work on for next year (among other things, not the least of which is putting the contest showings in a bigger room).....

... i've never entered a con that informed me i DIDN'T make the cut
