Friendly bump for the 1 month remaining reminder.

The contest is getting burned to a compliant NTSC DVD spec, so anything larger than 720x480 is going to have to be converted downwards.

Sorry for the delayed response - I've been rather sick.
Well. One last thing. One of my video's is 848 x 480. I don't have the project files for it anymore, so I can't downsize it without quality loss, and it's already in MP4 format. Will 848 x 480 be okay?

It'll be downsized by the software i'm using to build the DVDs. I'd run it through something on your end to add letter-boxing (at least) to get it how you want it before submitting, because how the software spits it out is how it's going to be on the disc - (in)correct AR, good/bad encode, and all.

We're hard up for videos, yes, but I simply can't be doing all this extra work on each submission. I have a demanding job, grad school, the rest of the contest itself, a number of at-con events, family commitments, and work travel to deal with the in the coming weeks. Please a least attempt to conform to the requirements as much as you can.

I'm still waiting to get the accounts made from this weekend's batch of requests. I'll send the emails as soon as I get the info on my end. If anyone else is waiting to request, now's a good time.

I got the file fixed to 720 x 480 with no loss of quality.

It is MPEG 2. But however, the actual file is a Vob. What are your feeling on this? Is it ok to send in a MPEG 2 inside of a Vob?

If not a Can change it. The audio is AC3 as well.

I don't exactly know if my software will support vob or not. It'd be safer to upload MPEG2.

Still waiting on those accounts to be created. Hopefully some time today.

EDIT - SUCCESS!
