And so, T-MODE is history for this year, as is the AMV contest. For a small convention, it was a good turnout with about 30-40 people in the video room on Friday about about 20-30 people on Saturday.

The following were the 16 finalist entries for the contest. Again, Upbeat and Comedy had to be combined into one category due to fewer entries in each category than in Drama or Romance. (Trailer/Parody is still its own separate category because those videos did not use a song as its audio.)

I did receive two entries that arrived after the deadline. One would have been disqualified anyway due to excessive and pervasive cursing. The other one would have easily been a finalist, and I showed Baitmaster's "Death Note Rhapsody" (V: Death Note / A: "Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen) as the last video as non-competing. It, as well as entry #12, received honorable mentions.

And now, the winners, in reverse order:

Drama: 6- "In the End of Ed" by Sonicfan74

Parody/Trailer: There was a tie! I had a senior staffer look at the two entries, and he (she) stated his (her) case as to which video should win. After some discussion, the following video won:

This video also received the most votes out of all other videos, including the tiebreaking vote, so it takes home the Top Vote-Getter Award.
