Let me start off for apologizing in advance if I have posted this in the wrong forum. LP Idol is in no means a big amv contest, though there will be a small prize. We are still a small community and after a 3 year hiatus, we have even fewer members, but by holding this contest again we are crossing our fingers it brings interest back and what better place to find awesome editors to compete than here at animemusicvideos.org??

The contest will be divided up into Rounds. Each round I will ask for something different. You may be asked to make a video to anything from rock music, to theme music, to OST. I may also ask you to use anything except footage with people/characters. All entries for each round should be no less than 20 seconds and no longer than 35 seconds. You will have 1 week from each week's announcement to get your entry in to me. The judges will have the opportunity to view the entries and make their critiques and scores *these will not be posted until later.* Then, each entry will be made available for everyone to download and a poll will be set-up for you to vote on your favorite. The poll will only be open for one week and then closed. The person with the highest combined score for each round will be showcased on the main page. . .the person with the lowest combined score will be voted off. Judges critiques/scores will be posted along with each rounds winner.

That's fantastic! I'll need a way to contact you for when we get started. We're still waiting to see how many people are interested before we post up the starting date. It's not obligatory, but you might think about registering on the forum over at LP. . .it may make the contest process easier. It's up to you though. There's no rule saying you have to be a member to enter.
