This email is to let you know that your FMV will be aired during Fanime 2011 for everyone to see!
In addition, it is in the running for the Judges Awards and the Audience Awards.

Exactly. Note that first it says your video will be "aired for all to see", and that "in addition", it is in the running. I wonder if e-mails to non-finalists only included the first half of the statement, because their video will be "aired" in an overflow slot or something.

That seems reasonable I got the same email saying i was up for an award too.
