Received my certificates yesterday, thank you :) >>>my first thought was, "no prizes? awwwwwwwwww :cry: :cry: :cry: i guess they had budget cuts or something. oh well.... </3"

Mine came a day apart too ^^. I've never seen such varied prizes, it's good stuff, and it was so fun to go through it and see what everything was. Getting an email with a tracking number was also a nice courtesy.

I do wish the certificate had an ampersand though, kinda looks like we got 2nd Best place (in) Best Comedy.

Just got mine too! This is an amazing assortment of swag! I'm at work so I'm going to try playing the CD over the PA system today when the lobby closes. :lol:

Sweet! Thanks for letting me know you guys are enjoying the prize packages! *totally blushing here!* ^_^;;

Since Otafest is pretty small compared to the big American cons, and the award structure is pretty different from most cons's contests, I'm always worried that folks won't enter our contest... so thanks very much you guys for putting out a good word on the prize packages!

At this point, I think most of the ones headed out to North American addresses have gotten where they are supposed to go now, and it's the overseas address still in transit!

I was very impressed with my swag bag as well - even being an honorable mention i really wasn't expecting to get as much as i did. :P - but being i haven't really done a full on AMV in a while... the really funny thing is - that the i had started a video using a certain show before receiving my prize...... just to get said show in the bag :P - which to me was a sign to crack down and actually work on the video :D, and a good show IMO as well :)

so for those that know who put the bag together will know the show i got - and when its done i'm really hoping you all will enjoy the video - as i'm trying to get it done on time to submit to Animethon... and if i can't make anything decent i might even submit it to next years Otafest so they might see what i did with the same show i received :P


again as others said - very impressed with the bag and so looking forward to next years contest :D
