Considering I was live-tweeting the results on Saturday as they played, I can pretty much confirm these are the correct winners and runners-up. These results will just need to be declared official, and at this point it's just a formality.

A noteworthy mention is this year's pre-show disclaimer:

"NOTICE: The Otakon 2012 AMV Contest features plot spoilers, senseless violence, girls in skimpy outfits, time travel, anthropomorphic cephalopods, brightly colored ponies, dubstep, just about all of Madoka Magica, motorcycles with arms, extreme mah jongg, epic ballet, and a samurai performing a midair somersault while riding a horse. It's that awesome. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!"

And of course the Daicon IV tribute open kicked things off as usual. I can't believe the contest has used that intro for 5 years, and people still are dazzled by it!
