The official Ohayocon 14 AMV contest and exhibition thread

Hello everyone. This will be the official Ohayocon 14 AMV contest thread for the Ohayocon forums. If there are any questions out there for the contest or for the exhibition, you may post them here or e-mail them to amv@ohayocon.org and I will try and answer them as soon as I can. Remember that all questions on the forums will be viewed by others so if you want your question private, it is recommended to e-mail it.

I want to take this time to thank everyone for their interest in the Ohayocon AMV contest. And I am looking forward to a great contest this coming year.

You are allowed up to 2 entries. The entries must be in different categories from each other. Also if you are part of a MEP, and you submit your name in the MEP entry, that counts as one for you.

I am planning on January the 12th or within a few days of that date. There is still a month left for submissions and video registration. On that subject, I am still in need of videos from all categories. I do have plenty of drama submissions but I can still take a few of those.

Hello again. I would like to reach out to those with AMVs that won lots of awards this past year. You video won't qualify for the contest (assuming it won 3 or more awards) however, there will be an exhibition showing at Ohayocon which can also feature award winning AMVs from the past year. If anybody out there has any AMVs that meet this qualification, I would love to show them at the exhibition. I do ask that you register the video to officially show that you have given the permission to show your AMV. Also, I shoe the AMV during our first annual (I think) speed editing contest.

Other then that, registration ends at the end of day Dec 31st.

The 2 entries limit, dose that include the exhibition? Or the limit only applies to the contest portion?
