Hentai-Con HMV Contest (Finalists announced)

Hentai-Con (Yes, you read that right) is hosting it's first annual Hentai AMV contest. Do you have that creative desire to edit to something that’s more on the mature side of things? Are you worried that your AMV may be so risqué or graphic that it'd make Betty White blush? Well fear not, that’s what the Hentai-Con Hentai AMV contest is for! So get ready to cut loose because we want your most insane, funny, risqué and entertaining AMVs for this no holds barred (almost) anything goes contest!

Rules and technical criteria

Entry Guidelines
Contestants may enter two (2) videos per category. If an editor is selected as a finalist, only one of his/her entries may be accepted.

Disqualification Rules:
-Videos containing portions of another editor's video will be disqualified and the submitter of said video will be permanently banned from all subsequent contests. Participants who submit videos that are not their own will also be banned permanently.
-Refusal to provide one's legal name will result in disqualification from the contest.
-All entries should be AT LEAST 55% Hentai animation.
-Bumpers, title screens, credits, or any other form of creator / footage / audio identification are not allowed: We will be adding custom title screens to identify each video so there really isn’t a need for them on your submitted files, so please remove them. If you're video contains bumpers/titles screens/credits/ect in the video itself (i.e. if part of the video and can not be cut) please make a note on your submission form and I will try to work with you to find a resolution!

Encoding
-MP4s using H.264/AVC compression are preferred. However, we will also work with AVIs and MPEG files. Files larger than 350MB will not be downloaded, so please correctly compress your work.
-submitted videos must be at least 720p (960x720 for fullscreen and 1280x720 for widescreen)

Entries which include editor and/or video title within the video will be disqualified

No audio may be taken from an English dub.

No subtitles/fansubs are allowed unless you add them in yourself.

AMVs with poor audio/video quality will be disqualified. This includes Interlacing issues, audio quality/distortions, etc., etc.

No visible or noticeable studio watermarks may be included in your video submission.

Time Limit
-The running time for videos may not exceed 5 minutes or be shorter then 1 minute.

Content
These are adult AMVs therefore, you are encouraged to create videos that are obscene, dirty, and all around inappropriate. However, we reserve the right to disqualify any material deemed too vile or discriminatory.
Videos containing Toddlercon, Shotacon, and/or Scat will be immediately disqualified.

Deadline
Entries must be received by October 17th, 2018 at 11:59 P.M. PDT.

Update: Editors who place in the finals for Hentai Con will receive one (1) free full weekend badge for the convention. If an MEP (Multi-Editor Project) is chosen for the finals, each editor of said project will be granted one (1) free full weekend badge.
