The SPJA also took the opportunity to raise AX's ticket prices in wake of E3's cancellation.

I don't believe that the badge increase is related to E3. AX seems to have a specific number of badges that they sell for a specific price, and then once that number is reached, they then sell the higher-priced badges. If you look at their facebook post that was made last week, it said in advance that they were 90% sold out of the $104 4-day price and that it would increase to $124 after that https://www.facebook.com/animeexpo/phot ... =3&theaterCastor Troy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 12:50 pmThe SPJA also took the opportunity to raise AX's ticket prices in wake of E3's cancellation.

As much as I dislike defending AX for anything, kireblue is right. It’s just bad timing. Still, who’s gonna pay 70 bucks to stand in line for 7 hours.

I wouldn't even pay 50 bucks to stand anywhere longer than three hours

The funny thing is AX is going to be canceled regardless once events with 500+ people are banned by law, hope they have a fun time refunding all that money lmaoCastor Troy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 12:50 pmThe SPJA also took the opportunity to raise AX's ticket prices in wake of E3's cancellation.
