Is this thing still working? Wow, it's been a while.

I'll let VicBond confirm the results that TnAddict just posted, but I can vouch for its veracity. I was just as surprised that there was a dead-heat for 2nd in Comedy this year. I was unable to attend the pre-screenings this year but I can definitely tell you that the content from everybody who entered (for the most part) was stellar. It's good to know that virtually everyone who entered the Otakon AMV contest was on their A-game this year.

As I was running the board for most of the three blocks that showed the non-finalists, I can only hope that I did justice to the videos that were shown in the AMV Theater during those blocks - especially those editors that stopped by and requested to have their videos shown while they were there. I met some very sweet and friendly editors. Keep on chugging along! I also hope that my fellow AMV Theater staff were also accommodating and friendly in the few times you may have interacted with them: Topaz, Brett, Mel, Robyn at the door, Keilyn and Brett (mostly) as room enforcers/ushers, and of course "Vic and Mel" at the front.

Maybe someday I'll submit something again for Otakon's AMV contest. We'll see. Thanks for coming out!

I would also like to add that BecauseImBored1 won Iron Editor (we'll have those videos out to the competitors, soon!)

Thank you to everyone who did the things, including my awesome staffers Amanda, JP, Mel, Dan, Jeremy, Robyn, Eric, Anthony, Will, Keilyn, and Brett! We are all still very exhausted, but I hope everyone had a bitchin' Otakon!

It was good to finally make it out there again after your move to DC (even if the sun was trying to kill everyone all weekend). Hopefully I can make it back out there in the future with some programming.
