Shoujocon AMV Rules Up!

Post by alatri » Mon Jan 27, 2003 1:33 pm

Hi All,

Shoujocon's Music Video Contest Rules have been posted.
http://www.shoujocon.com/contests/conte ... video.html

Quick Summary:
- Length: A minimum of 30 seconds, a maximum of 7 minutes. This includes all titles and notes.
- Theme: Shoujo. (This means actual shoujo shows and shoujo themes -- not just shots of girls from shounen shows. If you have questions, contact video@shoujocon.com )
- Format: Highest-quality VHS or SVHS tape you can provide, or DVD.
- They'll accept multiple entries, but if there are time contraints, they may only show one (mark your primary).
- Vids must be appropriate for all ages. If there are enough adult-themed entries, they mightl do a separate showing specifically for them.
- All entries must be received by July 1, 2003.

Questions should go to Carol or Alma at video@shoujocon.com

Hope to see a lot of vids there this year!!

Smiles,
-- Larissa =^..^=

Deadlines coming up!

Post by alatri » Tue Apr 22, 2003 7:57 pm

Hi All,

Just a reminder that the Shoujocon AMV deadline is July 1 for submissions. As time flies, that's now just a month away! (Where'd the time go???) If you have a shoujo-themed video, please consider entering it for our convention. :) Last year we filled the main room with enthusiastic fans who screamed so loud at some of the videos that I nearly lost my hearing. <g> If you have any questions, please contact Carol or Alma at video@shoujocon.com (same addie for both).

Smiles,

I claim no responsibility

I claim no responisability for the screaming fan girls. <grin> Darn, that I wish I had a great idea for this year. Oh well.

LOL!

<irony mode: ON> Oh no, my deafened ears had *nothing* to do with Suiichi's Question at all...

I'll start sending random thoughts your way in hopes of triggering that next Great Idea. ;-)

I came up with a new idea. I'll have to check if it's exceptable or not. It may end up having to be just exhibition. However I'll appologize ahead of time for the screach level. <Grin>
