Well the comedy videos always seem to be the best, and they are always at the end.... cause we want you to stick around for the whole tape lol.

And was that the video that used this really crude green screening?

I believe so. I remember that one from the '03 pre-screenings as well... if there was ever a doubt that putting yourself into an AMV was a bad idea, that one pretty much drove the point home.

However, putting Hsien playing DDR into a video = Golden.

(giggles) Over used animes... (giggle)

If there were FTP submissions, just imagine how bad it would be.

Conversely, I remember a Vampire hunter D video making fun of Vampire hunter D video's. I laughed my ass off when mortal combat chimed in...

Don't worry... come next year I'll likely have some footage that will be far more fun than even that was.

There'd be even more Naruto videos. :P

I think half of the fun of coming up with an Otakon video (for met at least) is picking a show to use that the odds are nobody else will have a video to. Though last year that plan got foiled by some Canadian who isn't even bothering to come this year. :P

"The Most Important Anime Music Video Ever" or somesuch? That one's still near the top of my playlist, and never fails to crack me up. It's scary how well VHD fits with the Powerpuff Girls.

Ash: Ditto, I like to use obscure ones if I can. :P Though that probably runs against my odds of winning anything in the end. Still fun though. Should probably work with something other than Rockman eventually. But no one else does, so.... :P Gotta spread the love somehow. Curious to know if my video was screened, as I had some encoding issues. Arr.

that's weird... I remembe rmaking 111 slates (well 112 with the one I just found out about)... I guess the other 7 were the non-competing ones.... anyone remember how many there were, I was not keeping count.

But yeah Naruto and Evanescence were the dominant series and music this year.
Tape 1 - 29
Tape 2 - 30
Tape 3 - 29
Tape 4 - 16

Total - 104
Done. Guarding.
