Not within bounds of reason (don't go crazy and send one video to a dozen different contests). Just make sure you're following all the rules: some contests have rules about videos premiering or winning awards elsewhere before appearing in their own.Yukitosan wrote:I'd like to add another question which is slightly different in content: Is it rude to submit the same video to multiple competitions?

I know ours is much like that...although it is pretty small. We generally don't send prizes out if you don't attend at all (Especially if they are provided by sponsors, as we want to give all those away at the con itself), but we will mail award certificates out if you request them...
As far as putting in videos to multiple contests, I would agree that 2 or 3 others is fine, but if half the people watching the thing have seen it before, then maybe it's not such a good idea...if the Judges have seen it before, then it probably won't win.
