I have sent my Round 3 entry (http://download.yousendit.com/1006D1781D094586).

In order to ensure that this was the worest AMV I did the following. First I decided that even though the song was bad I should endeavour to make it worse, so I distorted it to make it sound like Micky Mouse singing in a church.

I then added random clips from three of my AMVs; these were Duelist's Lament (interlaced and PAL), Special Olympics (very interlaced and NTSC) and Wedding Bell Symphony (TV sized). I also threw in an Evangelion clip for good measure. After making a time line I added random effects and randomly added transitions.

Once this was finished I exported it in the 720x480 size (NTSC DVD), which distorted most of the scenes. Finally I used post editing techniques so that the coloured looked full yet washed out, and added a green film to make it look like you viewing this AMV through mucus.

Please refrain from describing your entries before the round is finished!
Also, make sure all of your info is sent in an e-mail. I will put you down as a participant, but your entry will not make it past initial judging if it is disclosed to the guest judge. I am trying to keep this fair for everyone. Like I said, you can enter as many times as you like per round, so if you have disqualified yourself, and would like to try again, please feel free to do so, but do not disclose it on the forum.

Thank You.

Well, I need something to do when AMV Hell CE is done. :P

When I read the song was "Bodies,"...am I the only one who initially thought of the Sex Pistols' song? I guess that would have been a bit strong for this competition, no?

Anyway,...I'll wait for Round 4. ;)

Post by Dezbo21 » Tue May 16, 2006 5:27 am

Hey! Round 5 is up, but I still don't have any entries for Round 4.

If you have any Ideas, send them in! There's a god chance you'll win.
