I think people are exercising a bit of therapy because CE is almost over. The same kind of thing happens on the Sunday of every anime con I've ever been to. Everyone tries to distract themselves from the inevitable void left where the comaraderie used to exist and the shock of geting back to the "real world." I think no one wants to go home from AMV Hell even though the final round is coming to an end.

Well, it made sense to me...
