I just read who won since the video name was not placed in the post I quoted. That's actually a surprise, since "I'm NOT Gay" received a huge responce.

I (just now) fixed the winners list using the semifinals list in another thread. Again, sorry for not having all the details when i made the original post.

No need to worry. I was actually pretty bummed I wasn't able to watch the AMV awards after spending all that time watching the videos since I was running around doing othe stuff. Wait...I wasn't given a secrecy contract to sign before viewing the videos, if I discuss any further will I have ninjas bust down my bedroom door?

I couldn't really hear how well recieved my videos was over my heart trying to beat its way out of my chest and me worrying about losing feeling in my legs (which, subsequently happened at the awards ceremony as well >_>)

And damn you Wired Knight! because of you I went and saw the musical in Las Vegas, own the CD and karaoke CD, and know all the songs by heart >_> *hugs*

And I voted for Tim's video for Best Comedy XD I wouldn't feel right voting for myself cause I thought his was better....though now I'm curious if it was my video that came in only 20 votes behind his 0.o I guess only James will ever know ~(*_*~)

Well...if I don't reply within...oh lets say ten minutes, then the Secret Ninjas of Secrecy Enforcing the Secrecy Contract Act of 2006 have busted down my door, where they have found me in a compromising position which consists of partial nudity and an obsessive amount of video games and anime for a girl, and have terminated my life. Or at least the life of my laptop by unplugging the charger (it hardly has battery as it is, this it is charging).

In short, I suppose I can discuss just your video.

Ok, so I was part of the audience on Sunday from about 11 to about 2:00 am. What I enjoyed about your video was the fact that although it was relatively short in comparison to the videos in the comedy genre, it was very well done. The mouths matched the words of the song which must've have taken quite a bit of editing. For my criteria, I weighed the relativity of everything, from whether the song was proper to the anime depicted in the video, to whether the video kept me entertaine and reached an actual climax.

What I loved about your video was the fact that it actually made me laugh, which should be a large factor in the comedy bit, since comedy includes at least a moment of " HAHAHAHAHHAOMGROFLMAO" And that's what your video did. In my opinion, I do not think I was the only one in the audience I was in that thought so, since the room was definitely filled with laughter when your video played.

Next what I weighed in was of course the quality of the video, which was pretty easy since it was very good.

Given what type of anime was chosen, I thought what made your video funnier was the irony of the song and the anime. The song is about not being gay while the anime...well..you know what you chose.

In conclusion, you created an awesome video, and your hard work truly showed. Your video definitely fit the comedy category.
