White Rain Amateur AMV Contest Results!! (August '06)

Yay!! I got runner-up for Comedy! I just recently started making AMVs, so even getting runner-up excites me. Congratulations to everyone else that won!! And for those of you who didn't place this time, keep up the good work. I entered 3 vids, and only one of them got any mention. No one's perfect. You just have to keep at it. The point of making fan videos isn't for fame or glory. It's showing your own passion for the animé you love. If other people happen to not like it, that's their problem.

Good job again, everyone! I look forward to future contests!!

Yay! I got 1st in Serious and 2nd in Dramatic, although it's an amateur AMV contest, I feel I've accomplished something (even though there were very few entries in the Serious category)

Congrats to everyone else that participated and to the other winners! I hope this Amateur AMV contest keeps going on.

I can't believe it! I placed!

I've never won anything before.

Congrats to all the winners! I'm gonna be on a download frenzy as soon as this irritating cold of mine clears up.

Congrats to all, there were quite a few of action vids. Hopefully there will be more entries and more spread out between the categories next time. Thanks for your hard work in setting and finishing the contest kaley. I hope I can have a chance to enter again (I'm still an amateur

Well Im glad you all are happy with the results! ^_^. Seems like the contest was a hit, so I'll keep it up! Even if I have problems like this months (with my judges and overtime on doing mostly all of it myself) it was worth it! ^__^ Ill be working on the banners and the opinions shortly, hopefully ill get some up today, if not Ill try and post them all 2morrow ^___^

if you ask me, yeah it was a HIT, and besides with this kind of contest is how AMV makers will get more motivation and they will start to be more popular with the public, so yeah keep up with the contest, even if I won 3 nominations, I still feel like an amateur (since I haven´t won a big contest), so good luck with the next one
