How about a gift certificate to NewEgg then? That way it would be a focused gift (on hardware like you suggested) rather than cash. It seemed like you were offering cash, which seems rather sketchy, but a gift certificate for such a high amount would really be an amazing prize. And you know there has to be SOMETHING you can do with hardware money. Hell, blank DVDs if nothing more.

So then why don't we do this then. For the winner, I will contact them and ask them if there is anything special they want. If they ask for something like a DS lite (129.99 plus tax so that is reasonable) or any other reasonable prize, then I can get it and ship it to them. If they don't know or I cannot get in touch with them, then I'll default to a NewEgg.com gift certificate and ship it to the address listed.

The creators are the ones that are going to make this contest great so I need your feedback.

How does this prize plan sound creators?

Do you have to be present to win?

If not, show me the rules and I'll send a copy of an appropriate video.

I will change the rules soon to reflect the new prizes.

And the winner does not need to be present and I will accept entries from anywhere in the world and will ship to anywhere in the world (even Antartica, as long as its a real address).

Help MikomiCon have a great contest and thanks for you help and feedback!!!

The Prize information has been modified based on feedback from various creators. It is now an open prize, I will contact the winner and they can tell me what they want.

For more details, check the MikomiCon AGMV Information Page

Thanks for all your feedback and hope to see your videos. Any other suggestions or questions are more than welcome.
