*is thankful that Jen put some links in sig for vids*

Okay, here's what I'd TOTALLY love: please please PLEASE make a list of all the
videos that were at the contest, so that they can be downloaded for enjoyment.
Even if they're not from here, make it possible to get them. I beg you. T_T

(I'm especially eager to get my hands on the following: Man, I Feel Like A Woman;
Take On Howl; Mokuba; Evolution of Paradise; A Cowboy Story, It's Raining Otaku;
Through Children's Eyes; Speck of Hope; Desperado; Just Another Naruto Video, etc.)

BTW Tom, how did the Opening videos go over? Both yours and mine...
I heard people cried at opening ceremonies ^_^.
I happened to walk in just when it was about to start. People did enjoy it... Not bad for the time you had to do it!

Also, there were quite a few good videos this year, and all my fellow winners deserved it! Actually, the audience did a good jog in selecting the winning videos! I myself was floored as I never thought a trailer would take Best of Show!

Also, On Sunday when all the entries were shown in the AMV Room, the place was well attended and people enjoyed the all the videos!

Yeah I typically have a hard time coming up with something on such short notice. When I was asked I figured it would be something simple so I said yes... then I got a hold of what you had done last year and nearly shit myself. I had a week to come up with something on par with what you had done... that's just insane. I still think you would have done a better job, but I think I did ok considering. I would have liked to do more cuts or make it longer if I could but I was working off of somewhat limited source material (limited for what I'm use to). And now I know what you mean about having to go through thousands of pictures (they were all in some odd photoshop format I never used before as well).

And Tom, that's what I like to hear lol.

This is so unbelievably off-topic, but I saw it here so...

Nice icon TJ! I have that trade and remember reading the originals when it occurred near *cough* Zero Hour.

Uhm...congrats to all the winners! Especially Dad. If only I won another award in 2004, I could've won your award TJ! Before they invented it or you entered! :P I'll forever know that I am a failure since I did not :(.

Yes, I thought it was quite ironic winning it! Now I'll have to live with having your call name on a certificate and having to explain it to people :P

I must say, it was quite an enjoyable contest. The audiance actually cheered a lot of the videos and not just for the anime or music! I think somthing like 2500 were on hand so it was quite the fun event!

I really like Sakura-Con's contest. Great Job Tom! :up:
