I have a question for you guys.
I'm currently approving the videos that actually competed in the contest and I'm sure I will have some pending from people that submitted, but did not make it to the final contest.
Now I lean towards only having the videos that actually made up the contest listed (So thirty of them). Should I deny the ones that were submitted but didn't make it? Or should I let every video that was submitted be listed?

I've listed videos when i've submitted them in the past, so i've taken having a contest listed as "I submitted to ___" not specifically i made it into the finals at ___" - it's really your call though.

I say if it's screened at a con (either in the contest or in overflow) it should be approved, but that's my call. I look at the approval/denial process as a way to remove videos where the editors attach the vid to EVERY CON IN THE DATABASE so that their vid gets more search hits.adferraro wrote:I have a question for you guys.

Also dokool, I'll stick my neck out and say I totally agree with your comments on the Comedy category. I didn't submit anything to the contest because I figured I wouldn't have a prayer of making it on screen, but I totally would've gotten in with my comedy video had I tried. Very disappointing.
