Jeez, did any of you guys out there had your heart pounding when your vid was shown? It was my first CON and I had no idea what to expect. It was all good though.
your sure as hell not the only one...it was my 4th con, but its the first time ive had a AMV in one, and its my first AMV at that. I was SOO nervous. And if anyone was at the first showing, you should have heard my video get booed when "Dragonball Z" came up..i nearly shot myself right there. But instead of hurting my video, i think it helped a bit, cuz when it started no one was expecting what came after and it got a lot of opening laughs

"If someone feels the need to 'express' himself or herself with a huge graphical 'singature' that has nothing to do with anything, that person should reevaluate his or her reasons for needing said form of expression, possibly with the help of a licensed mental health practitioner."

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound so negative about not getting an HM. I'm just glad I made it into the contest.
And another thing. You're right Josh. I felt the same way when my video was shown on the big screen. Although, I was more looking at the audience during the showing. It was unbeleivable!
Actually, a pretty cool thing happened at the showing on Saturday. These three jerks (who didn't care much about amv's and only went to see the contest for the comedy category) were being rude by cracking jokes, talking loudly, and getting in the way of people behind them. However, a few videos that were shown caught their attention and mine was one of them. I just thought it was kinda cool how they were so rude during other videos, but managed to watch my video all the way through.
