I'll enter one in the open category and Momiji's Challenge. I'll send my entries out within a month.

*looks up. yup, that's what he said.
I'm also looking to enter both contests, though I don't know what I'm going to use for Momiji...still. Bah. I'm going to have to enter in Premiere, whish is kind of frightening, since I really haven't been doing this for long.
Ah well, I can't wait to see what everyone does!

I was going to send this as an e-mail, but it kept getting bounced back, so I'll post it instead ^_^
I've just got a quick question regarding Momiji's Challenge. I understand that the video is supposed to be exactly 1 minute long, but I'm not sure if I understand the video source correctly. Can it be any type of footage that you would find in a normal AMV, only this AMV is one minute in length? And if so, is Parasite Eve suitable material?
Any clarification would be great.

Sorry about not posting in here for a while, I have both exams and work for the next two weeks. I don't know why the email was bouncing back - I think there may have been issues with my ISP that have since been fixed. It doesn't help that the server holding the AN webpage was moved, either.
So some of you are having problems with the 1 minute limit, eh? Heh, that's why it's called Momiji's Challenge. It doesn't have to be exactly one minute, it's just that is the only way you won't get docked marks. A beautifully executed and themed video that is 2 seconds over or under will most likely score better than a hack&slash job that meets the 1 minute criteria exactly.
As for the fade in fade out, let me clarify - The clock starts ticking as soon as an image is discernable on the screen OR the music starts. The clock stops ticking once the music stops AND there is a completely black screen.
I have to admit I'm really looking forward to all your entries this year. It's up to everyone to make this the best year yet!
